Re: Interesting aspect to Pekka's review - a bit OT

You got it so right, pikme. I started with that longish  intro to my 40 years of seeing through 35mm field of view to emphasize how important this is for me. Forgetting this and the issue with 12-60 that you so elaborately described, Olympus 17mm is the better lens in every aspect compared to Lumix 20mm, if or when you get over the better central resolution of Lumix. The apparent sharpness of Olympus 17mm is after all quite nice and easier to achive than with Lumix  as I showed in that little example in my blog. I confess, I really had hard time to get over my first frustration with the new 17mm lens. (As a matter of fact I refused to give the lens back to them as scheduled before I was ready, and they had to get another lens to Europe...) After figuring things out and learning how to make the most out of it, it easily surpasses Lumix as my walk around  "35 mm lens".  With the reputation Lumix has here around these forums it should be no bad feat. And when I want to be serious with it, then it is time to shoot with Zuiko D. 12-60mm at 17-18mm setting. No change there. Win-win after all...
