Olympus Zuiko 17mm vs Panasonic Lumix 20mm

I'm buying this lens. I think the  panny 20mm will always be a good value, but there were always things about it that gave me pause (namely the noise and slower focus speed.)

I think this new lens is exactly what I've been waiting for. The optical performance was never going to be absolutely the most important thing to me, but it looks like there's not a whole lot to fault in this department. I like the focal length, I like the snap-focus MF, I like that the AF is MSC-grade, and the price is by no means outrageous. I've finally found my general-use fast prime.
