Answering "Why do photographers charge so much for weddings? All they do is take some pictures"

My kids wonder why me coming to work and "playing on a computer" is worthy of a good salary.  It doesn't really matter to anyone outside of the loop.  The fact of the matter is that if people don't place a high value photography, you telling them it is a lot of work and costs you a lot money in gear doesn't really matter.   I mean, it's also lot of work to pick tomatoes but those guys make $10/hr if they are lucky.
