FZ 150 where is the magic?
I got the FZ 150 (actually the sister Leica V Lux 3) 2 weeks ago, shot more than `1000 photos and don't know if I keep this camera.
I shoot with a FZ 28 and a Nikon DSLR 5 100, the Lumix for the “magic” and the Nikon for difficult situations, low light, moving subjects etc.
The Leica is truly a good camera, more mature than the FZ 28, better than the FZ 28 in difficult situations but with good light (this is Thailand!) the FZ 28 is much better. The FZ just has the color and contrast I love, the Leica is “clean” and with no “character”.
I experimented with settings (picture adjust) on the V Lux with mixed results. The FZ 28 doesn't give much options for this, but is always acceptable.
In BW they are different but I would say quite equal, bothe better than the Nikon.
It should be the other way as the Leica is newer, and 4 years are a lifetime in digital cameras.
Anyone owns both of them and can help me?
PS I use only OOC jpegs and do not wantto change to RAW at the moment.
