I disagree Focus Peaking (FP) is only more useful when you do video.
When you want to decide on critical sharpness in a scene for stills, FP, isn't that useful at all and the magnified look of both Panasonic and Olympus is much more usefull.

Completely agree!
Focus peaking is the most overrated feature that i know!
The only way to be sure of the focus at100% is magnifying!
By the way I had a sony nex5n before OMD and I know what i'm talking about.
You had a NEX 5N but if you had used manual lenses you would have really appreciated focus peaking. That is what I use it for.
I had sony nex5n and used it with olympus 50mm manual lens...
For portraits and other works that required really focus accuracy never used F.P.
May be it's good for video works but not for photo.
