This is an ISO 400 image and there is noise that screws up fine detail like the fur in this image.

Look at the out of focus background...there is a grainy texture to it. I still think its a great image. Most people don't look that close. Its funny...I can get pictures that look wonderful...even that fine detail but then another that has some smearing. I sometimes wonder if some of it is the image stabilization smearing fine detail.
