I am wondering if it is possible to attach the SAC-5 faux battery when using this grip and cannot see any opening which will allow the cable to dangle out smoothly.. does anyone know ? Perhaps the Franiec will be better to use with SAC-5 ?

Yes. The Milich totally works with the SAC-5. But you have to remove and then reattach the grip. A minor minor inconvenience.
