Change EC? Change ISO? Change f/sec?

... that was my guess too that EC may want to change my variable ISO than a shutter speed and this is why I said variable ISO instead of fixed. But suppose I'm in Manual mode and ISO is fixed, the flash is off, what other values can it change?
