You are missing a very important part - DPR states their scoring is not relevant across different categories of cameras, and these two are not in the same category.
"Scoring is relative only to the other cameras in the same category."

It is a Nikon, and it is FX, no?
It is actually the DX models, the D1 & D2, that don't belong

DPR can do whatever they want, but only Nikon knows what kind of cameras they make:
Professional, consumer, Nikon1 & coolpixes. Add them the Nikkor forum ... that's all you need.
