I'm left-handed, left-eyed, and have been using serious cameras for over 40 years. In that time I've never seen or heard of a left-handed camera. Being left handed doesn't matter; focus and zoom with the left hand, trip the shutter and wind film with the right. Being left-eyed means I get grease smudges on the rear screen from my nose. Inconvenient and slightly messy. So I clean the screen frequently.
Amazing how much oil/sweat/gunk builds up on the nose.
