New Zealand trip - lens dilemna

I'm headed to the South Island of NZ for two weeks in January. Not quite sure what to do in terms of lenses.
I shoot on a D800, and currently own a Zeiss 21mm f2.8 and a Nikon 50mm 1.8g.
I had been planning to buy the new 70-200 f4 lens from Nikon to take assuming I could get my hands on it before I left, but lately I've also been considering the Zeiss 50mm f/2 MP.
I can only afford to get one before the trip, so the question is... which? Why the Zeiss when I already have a 50? Well the Nikon lens is great for the price but it definitely has it's shortcomings so I was considering upgrading.
The 50mm FL would just be used for panoramas; I have a Really Right Stuff pano setup to shoot these with. It makes a great FL for panos - no doubt.
So the real question is, will I notice the absence of the 70-200 over there? Is 50mm (stitched) and 21mm going to be all I need for shooting NZ landscapes?
It may seem obvious to get the 70-200 when I already have a 50, but in the long term I think the 50MP would get more use than the 70-200 - although that is certainly a useful lens to own. I am in two minds about whether a 70-200 would actually be needed for the trip...?
