I would say it differently - MF is NOT FOR EVERYTHING. For static, never moving subjects where you have all the time in the world to focus it is good and Zeiss is very good. But if this is your social lens, you talk to people, photograph people....need to quickly react, MF is a massive disadvantage with modern bodies designed for AF and not MF.
