Picnic at Washington Monument!

Mike, I couldn't say it better! When you first come to the US, you find many things , well,... surprising!

This huge "Obelisk" seemed very strange to me when I first saw it, although I had seen many photos of it before!... There is a TV documentary series here in States that is called "Ancient Aliens"!.... I think this could have a perfect place in this serial, although it was achieved after the American civil war, in the late 1800s.

But I thing the most surprisingthing I have seen so far is maybe the statute of Mr. George Washington as Zeus with a sword, ordered by the US congress!
