Is the 5N BETTER then the F3??

It is well known that the NEX-5N was introduced first. That has absolutely nothing to do with the issue at hand. The 3F, being the lower-cost line with fewer features may have the same sensor but it was performance reduced by the factory design team, in the software.

As I said, hackware could probably  bring the 3F up to fN performance levels.
