Well, at least in your comparison tool you give a chance to compare the cams in original image size. So, D700 beats D600 beats D800....

Think of film: all same size, you print them same size for comparison. The classical ASA 50 Pan would allow for larger prints at same perceived grain than ASA125 or ASA400. Printed same size it'd show less grain (at a lower sensitivity). The analogy is perfect, only that now you can choose ISO on camera and what you get is D600 beats D700 and ties D800.

ASA 400 has more "noise" than ASA50 and the D800 has more noise than the D700.

What you "resizer-guys" are saying is: Take a Bugatti Veyron (1200 HP, 0-100 in 2.6s) and a Volkwagen Golf (105 HP, 0-100 in 10.5s), normalize the HP to 105 HP and there you go, the VW ist about 3 times faster than the Bugatti
