Dream Lens

The OP's lens seemed to be something that possibly could be built, not a fantasy, so I'll stick to that idea:

1. a 50-150mm f/2.8 OIS, or maybe f/2.8 - 4.0 to keep it smaller. Would make an excellent all-around sports lens, indoors or outdoors.

2. a 12-50mm f/2.8 - 4.0 OIS. I really like the 12-35, but the long end is just a little short. I'd be willing to compromise on speed at the long end, I think, to keep it compact.
