Suggest Canon EF Lens

I  have Canon D500 SLR camera with standard 17 to 55 mm lense,   I wanted to buy additional lense,  which one experts suggest  55-200mm F4.5-5.6,  or 75-300mm F4-5.6.  I am also interested in close up pictures of flowers and insects, Suggest please,  Shanti Kumar Chiluka
