Replacing the NEX7 grip? (warranty repair)

Hi all,

I'm leaning toward sending my NEX7 with pealing grip to Laredo for under-warranty repair -- but I wanted to check in here first.

Has anybody had their NEX7 grip serviced by Laredo recently? Did they do a fine job, and get it back to you reasonably quickly? Did they bungle anything unrelated to the grip?

The grip is bugging me enough that I'd like to do something about it, but not if the camera will be sitting in Laredo for a month, or if they tend to botch unrelated things (as service centers sometimes do).
