Is your 5D Mk III electronic level accurate?

IMHO it is reasonable to assume the bottom plate being level with the camera sensor. Guess what happens if you are relying on the level gauge built into your tripod. Bad surprise waiting for you when you come home. The sensor assembly moving when you bang the camera to the table does not sound good either.

I see no fault on your side.
