Your points are all true, for its target audience the 1DIV is definitely the better choice. It's construction, AF speed, AF tracking, handling, battery life etc. are all in a league of their own.

I was only pointing out that the once huge gap in IQ between pro level bodies and between enthusiast level cameras is narrowing. And I believe that a few years from now, we won't be able to tell between the average camera's image quality and this of top level models.

And you weren't as harsh with me as you described yourself, on the contrary - you made up your points very well, I enjoyed the reading.
