Problem with new D5100 found..

This actually had me stumped for a while trying to figure out what was going on. I had exposure problems like this on my olympus E300 in "ESP" (full frame metering) mode but that was because of a crappy design and was a well know problem. Switch to center weighted would fix it. It made no diff with this camera. When I switched to manual and still was seeing esposure problems, that is when I started doing some basic testing. I was kinda surprised to see this but, oh well things like this or a dud lens etc do happen.
