Problem with new D5100 found..

Just shooting in the dark - no pun intended. It is SUCH a pain to send your camera away for repair. I did it once for my D2x, years ago. It does happen. Just trying to think of "possibles". Not trying to defend Nikon. I am SURE some samples have problems - kinda of like Ford, Toyota, Jeep, etc, etc.
