K28mm f3.5... WINNER!!!!!
Nov 14, 2012

Recently my twins begged me to take a trip with them that I had recently done with my youngest. As a soft touch with a love for the outdoors I was more than willing to oblige.

Seeing as I have visited the area many times I decided to be a little daring and take only two lenses on my hiking activities. My K28mm f3.5 and my DFA 100mm f2.8 WR. I used the K28 almost exclusively and found that it performed quite well on my K5. Quite well indeed.

Here are a few shots taken around the slot canyon where we hiked.

The last shot was taken on the Buckhorn Wash Road. The Autumn colors were amazing and I was VERY happy with the performance of the lens. Are there lenses that are sharper, yes. Was this lens sharp enough, again yes!

Gotta love these old Manual Focus lenses!
