Which Rokinon (Samyang) 14mm 2.8 lens for D800E?

Not sure which Rokinon (Samyang) 14mm 2.8 lens I should get for my D800E?

The one with the focus confirmation chip?

Or the one without the chip

I’ve read where some say pass on it (the confirmation chip), while others swear by it. I have no problem manual focusing, so I’m wondering if the chip is worth the extra 40 bucks; or am I missing something?
