Very disappointing news regarding RX1 focus peaking.

Good to hear that focus peaking was working without magnification. I guess there are a few possibilities:

- the unit in the showroom is final release version and they made focus peaking to work only when magnification is activated.

- unit in the showroom is not the final release version, and focus peaking will work even without magnification in the final version. Staff in the showroom did not know that, nor did the people at HQ whom they asked.

- the unit in the showroom is final and focus peaking could have been activated without magnification, but I did not know how to decouple them from each other, neither did the staff in the showroom, nor the people at HQ whom they asked (those incompetent Japanese staff should be shot!).

I'm hoping its the last possibility and keeping my preorder.
