A question of balance

I usually don't like to center the main subject in the frame. However, this may be an exception. My question is: Do the offset surroundings (less sky, more mountainside) help with visual "balance" in this case?

Cropping to bring it closer to the "rule" of thirds would bring the subject in much closer, and I wanted to maintain more of a 'sense of place' to where the building sits, or scale maybe, without zooming out and making the building too small.

I know it's all subjective but wanted to get some other opinions. Maybe the photo or framing doesn't work at all for you, and that's okay too.

Artic Mine. (That's the way the old miners spelled it.)

Thanks for your thoughts.

Nick
