BW photos with grey toning

Hi, I wonder to know how to achive effect in BW photography that will make black and up areas as not pure Black but grey.

I have try to achive this effect in lightroom but i cant.

I know that in lightroom there is something thats called split tonig but it only change black shawdows on some color but i want to get all in BW without color.

Its often called vintage style maybe something else i dont know.

Anyone know sme techics with that?

On the bottom there is an image with that effect there are no any pure black colors only grey.
