Rare White Morph Gyrfalcon - D800e 70-200 VR II and TC 2.0 III

I had the chance to take a few photos, in the gathering gloom of a cold front coming through, of a local "media star", a rare (escaped) white morph gyrfalcon that has taken up temporary residence at a local mall where there is a flock of pigeons. Here are a few photos from D800e at ISO 720 with 70-200 VR II lens and TC 2.0 III (exif embedded in larger version by clicking on blog photo).

Any suggestions on how I could have used the combination for a better capture of this beautiful bird?
Sort of OT, but this is the second "white morph" I have been lucky enough to capture. The first was a white morph "blue" heron in Naples, FL with D700 and 20-300 VR lens.
