"Should" being the operative word. I haven't seen any real life tests, but to the best of my knowledge, the adapter is supposed to pass through all of the TTL information. I am planning to buy a NEX 6 and the F20AM to wirelessly trigger two Metz flashes I have, so I'm counting on it working.
I use this adapter (ADP-MAA) on my NEX-6 with a Metz MB 50 AF-1. It fully supports this flash including TTL (including HSS) and exchanging of focal length, aperture, ...
My local photo store also told me that there is a much cheaper 3rd party adapter for the ADP-MAA doing the same. But as it was not in stock, I bought the original one online.
