New Epson 3880 or Pro 4000

I have a problem with one of my epsons 3800. Problem is the PB ink is empty in 2 weeks and the display give FULL The nozzlecheck is not good in Pb and Y. The Y is not clean. There are lines inthe printpattern yellow and some are Black.  Problem is a bath functionary in the switch between MB and PB or the cartridge system.

300 or 400 € costs for the repair. This is  not recommendid; I must by 3 new cartridges (160€). With a new 3880 are 9 cartridges levered, this have a value of 500€. So it is better to by a new 3880.

Or i buy a new 3880 (1150€) or i can buy a secondhand Epson stylus pro 4000 witch 10 cartridges extra ink for 600€. The 4000 is an older generation of printers and the 3880 is more newer.  The 4000 don't have the K3 inkset (MB or FB and LB , not LLB)   The most of my prints are  black and whites on Barytpaper (cansonbaryta and Ilford Gallerie Goldfiber silk)

I have also a second 3800 but this is working with refiliable cartridges from inkrepublic witch OCP-ink.   I don't like the glos (read bronzing) of the non-original Epson ink.  I want a second printer with original epson inkt.

Have sombody experiance with epson 3880 and 4000 ?
