D7k + the NEF Codec for snapshots

When making just snapshots and thus nothing earth-shattering at all, I afterwards often process the RAW snaps for fast turn around only with that Nikon NEF codec software and a little fast image previewer like for example IrfanView. This way you can convert a bunch of RAW image files into JPGs always very quick.

That Nikon NEF codec IMO gives quite good default results for a D7k, colors and skin tones etc. look mostly correct with this one right out of the box, without having to spend much time for longer image setups.

These are some just for fun snapshots during a Henna night, processed by using that NEF codec:

The girls having fun

It was her Henna night

After having some drinks it seemed I didn't care much about straight lines in composition

Fun with the fake belly dancer

A fake and a real belly dancer in good mood

All just quick snaps with a D7k, the 18-105 mm and a SB-700, at ISO 800 f4-4.8 and 1/60s.
