For goodness sake give the man a break. At least this is an interesting subject and the reference to articles using Canon cameras are essential as he is trying to point out a deficiency in Nikon's lineup. Nothing wrong with that, nothing is perfect, no doubt Canon machines have other balancing deficiencies.

Given the vast number of trivial discussions in the forum I think your guns could be better aimed. As a landscape photographer and D800 owner I am VERY interested in techniques to avoid vibration.

Ditto, well said Brian. And thanks for the informative post Peter. Unfortunately both Canon and Nikon have deficiencies and they seem to be increasing. So understanding these is actually quite useful.
