Nex-6 "System error" and video issue

Hello,

This morning I was trying to record a meeting on video with my Nex-6. Quality: MP4 12M, shutter priority, 1/50. First time I try this quality setting.

I noticed a couple times that the recording stopped unexpectedly and I restarted it immediately; the camera was like shut down or in standby.

After transferring the files on my pc I see that the two videos are both same length: 23:35, 2.094.900 KB size. Strange; and I think the EU recording time limit for cameras is 29:59 mins?

The third video stopped instead after 17:26 and a 1,5 GB file.

I turned it off and turned it back on after 5 minutes thinking it was because of overheating; at this point I got a "System Error" message on the LCD screen. I just turned it off again and gave up recording the meeting.

Extra details: 16-50mm lens; the LCD screen was extended from the body; class 10 microSD card with SD adapter; full battery, 50% battery at the end; memory card was formatted in-camera (so I believe FAT32 filesystem).

Turning the camera back on now doesn't show any issues, looks perfectly fine.

Any idea what happened, and whether anybody else got the same?? Any similar issues with previous models? Should I return it as defective?
