seemless background doesn't look right

That may be your problem right there. I'm guessing it's always on the ceiling bracket. Seamless, not seemless, should be stored tightly-rolled and vertically. Storing it horizontally will give you the wrinkles.

As it says right on the box; "Keep upright".
