False advertising from Sony

Hi all

I jumped from micro4/3 to nex and I'm quite happy with my new toy (nex-6). First impressions with IQ are promising. First impressions with company policy however are not: Sony advertises apps on its websites all around the world. But: There is only a short list of countries where this service is available. I get the following message: "This service is not available in your country". So how is that? Sony support does not react to my inquieries, a chat on the sony store led to the remark "we are not aware of this problem".

I call that false advertising and as far as I know it is illegal here in Switzerland. So if you plan to buy a 6 or 5R and apps like smart remote seem important to you be warned: You might not get it!
