D80 problem

Yes, the bands are quite clear. Process of elimination needed here.

1. Take a photo in RAW, remember the camera will still show the pic in JPEG format, need to look at it in a RAW editor, see if the bands are still there.

2. Change cards - the card may be damaged.

3. Make sure you reformat cards in the camera, not on your PC or ....whatever else you use.

4. Reset the camera to default settings, reset buttons.

5. Try different lens.

6. Look for interference with any other equipment nearby.  Mobile phones etc.

7. Reinstall firmware.
