seemless background doesn't look right

I'm using a roll down seemless sheet (long one~I think it's 109" wide) that comes down from a ceiling bracket.  I'm lighting it from the front with a very small light stand.  I have my subject about 8 feet from the background and the light is just behind him on the floor.   I have that tall coned shape fitting on my AB light.  I've tried various strengths and less light helps but still can't get rid of those wrinkles.  I've cut it but fresh part is same.  Do I have the right side coming down??  It should curl toward me, right?  In other words it curls up when looking at it from camera.
