JPG and loss of quality

Hi,

I also started now saving to Tiff after editing in raw. But the Tiff files are just so big. Much larger than Raw files. Any recommendation for a format which is not that large but still without much compression. Is JPG the best way to go at setting 12? What kind of files do you use for printing very large?
