The old rule was actually matching (equivalent) focal length to shutter speed for a minimum for hand held, so that would be minimum 1/90 second for the M4/3 45mm lens for the average careful user.

But folks are different and Detail Man and Ansel Adams and Kodak will tell you that to get it really right you need 1/5 of the shutter period of the rule, so to be really sure never stray below 1/450 second for a 90mm equivalent (to 35mm film coverage) lens in any format if unstabilised.

This question is fascinating.  I have always used the "equal to or faster than 35mm equivalent FL rule" so I assumed that 125th was adequate, being greater than 90.  I also generally increase that to give myself more padding, so I've been thinking I would start to work with a 1/250th-minimum rule with this lens.  1/5th is really stringent.  Wow!
