First DSLR - Suggestions

An upscale body like the T4i or 60D, with superzoom lenses, is the best path to that superzoom because of the savings on the lens. Buying the superzoom separately will be significantly more expensive. As for the different bodies, they have all been discussed a lot here. Small sample -
