Absolute essential for me would be:

Canon 2.8 17-55mm, Canon 2.8 100mm for closeup an details and even some portraits if time allows it. And the Canon 50mm 1.8f

My first wedding this summer was with this exact set up. I owned a 60D and borrowed a 5D Mark II an 70-200 II 2.8 IS as a CPS Silver member. This wedding was a remote one on Dominican Republic, so I didn't want gear to be a factor. The 5D MKII was so foreign to me-antiquated vs the 60D-that I reverted to my own equipment. The weddings I have booked as a result of this one event is at three. The highest payment I could have ever expected.

lots of Extra battery's

I always have purchased the additional grip with every Canon Body I've owned. I've become accustomed to the size and weight.

Good luck,

Dave
