5DII and 1DsIII users, I need your opinion! (from 5D)

Hi everyone,

It's been a long time since I have my 5D and I'm always amazed by all what I can get from this camera... I've been through lots of situations, constantly pushing my 5D to the limits and it never failed in return.

I had only two little issues.

I do a lot of low light work and I've been frequently using a -2ev comp at 3200iso to grab some speed, then recovering it in LR (small prints, all my clients were always happy with the results, several expositions with 90% of "recovered -2EV" pictures). But now I have to print bigger and it's not as easy.

The second one is that I've been doing some studio work lately and I can feel the limits of the 12mp of the camera (I need to print very large this time).

The camera took some abuse but never failed. I also use a 1DII (love it also), shutter, sync, dual cards, ergonomics and Cfn are great.

So, it's a big step; what are my options? 1Ds3 and 5D2.

I would have choosen the 1D over the 5D anytime if it hadn't this same sensitivity range as the 5D (3200 max), even if it's more expensive...

So I know I'll have to go with the 5DII because I need a bigger iso range.

Does anyone had the same trouble?
