Of course not.  Although I don't own one, it's no more the end of flash photography than it is the end of tripods.  It may well reduce the need for flash in some sorts of situations but doesn't change things where one needs fill flash, like to balance back lighting or reduce/eliminate "raccoon eyes."

And aside from all of those shoots were one has only his camera and his Speedo, I'm not sure the "problem" of carrying a spare battery (or several) for camera of flash isn't over-rated either.
