Nothing new under the sun. The same thing is happening now as it did several years ago - the camera division cannot make any money for as long as they are pumping out dozens and dozens of new compact cameras and ultrazooms every year in multiple product lines.

Quite sad, really - 4/3 was profitable (and could have been a lot more profitable with a couple more lenses and better CAF), as is m4/3, but the camera division as a whole is still losing money due to abysmal business strategies. As they say, those who don't understand history are doomed to repeat it, so I fully expect Olympus to go FF or Nano Four Thirds. In 2015-2016 we'll still be reading about how the camera division is losing money...
