One case: Optech Hipster extra-large. Holds camera with generic camera plate attached, extra batteries and card. Closes with velcro, but I haven't found this a problem as long as I remember to push firmly on velcro when closing.  Probably will work with the Milich L bracket, but as my L bracket hasn't arrived yet, I can't say for sure. Cheap, under 20 bucks.

Can't help you with the tele converter, I haven't heard of either a tele or wide converter. There is a near-macro diopter by Sigma, works well. Native lens (45mm FF equivalent) file quality is good enough for significant crops, equivalent of 100mm FF. I wouldn't try to use this for a wildlife camera though.

Most of the people around here have gone the panorama shoot-and-stitch route for a wide angle view.
