Perhaps if you really know your raw processing, you might better the out of camera jpg's.

As you would know, there is a tiny preview image often embedded in the raw file, that is a must for ensuring the original colour fidelity of the raw image is maintained during the conversion - if you can match that well then the benefits of raw processing should follow; stuff like maxing out the dynamic range and retaining as much detail as possible.

Unfortunately most raw converters 'flavor' an image colour during the raw conversion, particularly the adobe converter, so the process is really not that different to other cameras except of course when your using the EXR modes - though you should still be ok as long as you match the original colour to the raw image preview.
