gonna sound stupid but cant take photos with new 5N!?

Its the same problem in link above!

Just got my 5N an hour ago.

Put some charge on battery, set time/date, formatted card

Went to iA mode and it won't take photos or video?! It just keeps focusing with a big green box on screen?!

It did have the hand (stabilisation?) flashing a warning at me for some reason?

Is there some master control to get the camera to be a camera or am I being a rookie?!

I've put batt back on charge as was down to 5% would that affect anything?
