Will a new D800/600/D4 improve my work?

A little about what I shoot. I shoot mostly slice of life and events. I occasionally shoot some landscapes but it is life I try capture. I rely heavy flash. I always keep an SB400 in my pocket und usually have an SB900 or a Quantum Trio mounted on my camera. I prefer flash over available light but there are circumstances when I find ASA 3200 & 6400 and available light the only way to make the shot.

I am currently working with a D700 and D300. I find the D700 gives me abilities the D300 cannot provide however I ask my self will a new D800/600/4 make me a better photographer. Am I missing shots my D700/300 cannot make that I would be able to get with Nikon's recent offerings. My D700 only has about 35,000 actuations and my D300 has just under 50,000 actuations so I believe both cameras have lots life.
