Fuji X-E1 : Canon EOS lens adapter

Hi all

I'm looking into buying the X-E1 as a second system partner to my Canon DSLR (5D MkII).  My favourite all time lens on my D5 is the Zeiss Distagon F/2.  Will this work with an adapter to the Fuji?  What will I lose in functionality (will I be able to adjust aperture on the lens from the camera body controls?).

There seems to be a massive variety in the price of adapters - are cheap ones best avoided?

Trying to decide which lens to get with the Fuij?  I like the sounds of the 35mm F/1.4 but if I can get an adapter to use my Zeiss I may get the 18-55 instead as a more general lens.
