Why would you lock the mirror in Live view? It makes no difference since it is up and locked all the time anyway, at least in the D800.

I use tripod to shoot landscape.

if I cannot get other a better low vibration way, so "an electronic first shutter curtain" that I can accept. Please Nikon bring Zero vibration mode.

Sorry, I am not ready to read that long article of a Canon blogger. I am not shooting with Canon, so I am not interested for now and have no time to spend on reading that. I agree, electronic shutters have some advantages, just like mechanical. The best solution is the one used in the V1/V2, you have the option to select electronic or mechanical shutter, depending on which one you would find best for a certain situation.
